河床劇團

新年快樂！2014年是我們豐收的一年：華格納革命指環首部曲《萊茵黃金》首次改編經典歌劇、將人聲與琴弦的合奏融入河床的詩意；受國家兩廳院之邀，「2014國際劇場藝術節」的壓軸節目《千圈の旅》，在實驗劇場大規模建製5個戲盒舞台推移變換，以超感官意象深入草間彌生的迷幻世界。劇場以外，我們參與了鶯歌陶瓷博物館的「大器非凡」特展、在國立彰化師範大學擔任駐村藝術家，也到高雄樹德科技大學舉辦了為期七天的創意工作坊。感謝大家對河床的愛護，讓我們成長茁壯、持續挑戰跨領域創作！
明年河床預計將《摘花》推展至歐洲演出，以及全新創作《夢見大衛林區》，歡迎大家繼續支持、觀賞我們的演出！

Happy New Year! 2014 has been a busy and fruitful year for Riverbed: In June, we staged our first opera, Wagner’s Das Rheingold, as part of the “Revolutionizing the Ring Festival” at Hua Shan Art Space, and in November, we staged the image-based performance one thousand circles for space travel about the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama as part of the “2014 International Theatre Festival” at Taiwan’s National Experimental Theatre. We also participated in the exhibition “Great Talents, Great Scope” at Yingge Ceramics Museum, were artists in residence at Changhua University, and led an intensive 7-day creative process workshop at Shu De University. Thanks to your continued support we have been able to work on increasingly bigger and bolder interdisciplinary productions!

Projects for 2015 include working with Gang-a-tsui Theatre on our new version of mixed blood and staging an original production, Dreaming David Lynch, about the American filmmaker. We hope you are able to come see the performances (or join us in working on the productions!).
